Search Presence

Search presence refers to what actually appears when someone searches a professional's name: which results rank, how current they are, and whether they reflect the person's real expertise and current role. It is one of the most direct measures of a personal brand, since it is usually the first thing a prospective client, employer, or partner checks.

Example

A physician whose top search results are an outdated hospital directory listing and nothing else has a weak search presence relative to their actual practice.
